Inspiration via Audible.com

So I finally broke down and did the free trial for audible.com and chose the Iliad and the odyssey by homer as my free audiobook. I haven't read or listened to either in over 5 years. I've already listened to 4 and a half hours and am jotting down any aha moments as they happen. Hopefully this will cause a spike in words written today.

That's right. The kickstarter has been approved and now I will see if anyone likes this project enough to help it become a reality. Haven't had much of a chance to write yet today, only a few hundred words, but I hope to catch up significantly this evening. Intro/Kickstarter Fundraiser

Good evening all. My name is Theodore Grant and I have undertaken the task of writing a novel, "Trippin' Laurels". The premise is 2 college students/marijuana enthusiasts wake up one morning on an island straight out of the Greek myths, complete with monsters, nymphs, and even the underworld. Will the protagonists be able to overcome the same obstacles as other heroes of legend and be able to make it back in time for class, or will this be their last trip (literally and figuratively)?

I have recently started a Kickstarter project for this and hope it is approved soon. As of now, I'm still writing the rough draft and am getting closer every day. Stay tuned for more updates
